At the bottom part we find waves in field of azur with a promontory beaten by waters of the Duero river.

Three saddles stand out over the promontory. On both sides of the hill two golden keys, which would open and close the town’s doors. The border that surrounds this coat of arms, in which appear engraved the titles "MVY ILVSTRE, ANTIGVA, CORONADA, LEAL Y NOBILÍSIMA" (Very Illustrious, Noble, Ancient, Coronated and Loyal), belong to the Middle Ages.

King Sancho IVth, the brave, adds the crown by means of a letter of privilege. That letter said that the village’s coat of arms should be coronated.
